I’ve been a public relations professional for 35 years, with stints in municipal government (Rockville, Maryland), state government (the Connecticut State Senate), and the arts/museums (Hartford Stage, the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, The Mark Twain House & Museum, the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center), and I’ve relished every opportunity I’ve had to help organizations and institutions put their best foot forward in any situation. I’m especially skilled at crisis PR; I won’t share my stories here, because while the outcomes after my interventions have been universally positive, the crises to which I was responding are not mine to share publicly.
If you agree with me that honesty and transparency and consistent communication are essential to managing your public image, I’d love to work with you to address your PR needs, large and small.
Here’s a press release I wrote about Connecticut Explored magazine’s 20th anniversary. I’ve proudly edited the magazine for more than 17 years!
